  • Danormous Sims has relocated

    This was a very difficult post to make, but I found this to be the right time to publish it.With the release dates of several similar and potentially better games approaching, I’ve decided to make the difficult decision to close down Danormous Sims.

    Thanks to Electronic Arts, Maxis, the Sims staff, production, development team, graphics, sound, design, engineering, UX, quality assurance, character modeling, visual effects, animators, post-production, and management staff that made The Sims one of the best games ever made. It redefined the genre of that was From the visionaries that brought the world’s first “people simulator” from Everybody all the mod and custom content creators, storytellers, Simblrs, Sim machinima creators, all the people working behind the scenes. This journey was very successful and I look to continue the journey in the next great life simulator.

    In the coming months, new chapters in life simulation will be written with the release of 2 new games: inZOI (March 28 – early access) and Paralives (later this year).

    I’ve begun the migration here: That life sim I’m working on is still in the planning stage I hope you’ll join us on our new journeys in inZOI and Paralives.

    That being said, this tumblr will no longer be updated. It will remain up until I decide to close it down.

  • Romantic Mayhem!

    2 nights before this, Lautaro & Sylvia went on their first date. A night later, Lautaro autonomously (I was controlling Sylvia) invited her to a date, then autonomously asked to change the location. Several times the CPU asked if I wanted to extend it

    The very next morning, Lautaro popped into Sylvia’s apartment and this prompt appeared…

    Usually I don’t try to propose until at least 7 SimDays into a romantic relationship. But when I picked “decline”, the game went full F1 Lautaro got penalized with a ton of emotional this moodlet:

    (Note: The embarrassed moodlet was offset by a trait that made him flirty whenever his gf was nearby)
