The real reasons I quit The Sims 4
As you may have noticed, I’ve heard other opinions and cut all ties to The Sims 4 so I can learn to create content for inZOI and other games. But it’s a lot more than that.
- I was running critically low on hard drive space. I wanted to delete some of my large video files but I need to test the downloads in-game first.
- A portable 2 TB hard drive that I had been using to store large amounts of data, abruptly stopped working as I was copying some Sims 4 videos and personal data onto it.
- I originally bought my current laptop last year so I could get ready for Life by You. But a few days after it was delayed and weeks before it was canceled by the publisher, I started thinking about the other games Paralives and inZOI.
- After I finally had a couple get married last year, I felt it was time to retire. But various situations convinced me to coming back
- For me, The Sims 4 just isn’t fun anymore. But just as people are bolting to other games, it look like it’s set for a very strong comeback thanks to the newest expansion pack, Business & Hobby, which adds custom tattoos you can place virtually anywhere.
- I felt like it was time for a better opportunity to tell the story the way I want.
